Monitoring and review

Every organisation has systems that it uses to make sure that it plans effectively for the future. As a Local Partnership, we have a responsibility to make sure that we use our resources wisely and do the best we can for local people. This means that we need to be clear about what we want to achieve and be clear about whether we have delivered it.

This document provides a strategic context to the individual plans for specific cultural activities and services across the Borough of Bolton.

This chapter outlines our approach to Performance Management and Monitoring. It sets out a framework that we can follow to make sure that:

  • We work with our partners, target groups including young people, customers and stakeholders to develop a vision of where we want to go.
  • We set ourselves clear and challenging goals to help us get there.
  • We have identified where resources will come from to achieve our goals.
  • We can measure our performance both financially and in terms of service delivery and quality.
  • We can learn from our performance and strive for continuous improvement.
